Two well known retired United States Senators, one a Republican and the other a Democrat (a dino) have been hired by this Russian Bank to lobby against the US sanctions over Putin's actions in the Ukraine. Is there any honor left in the ranks of the departed politicians? Apparently not for these two are hiring out to another nation's agency to thwart the sanctions recommended by our President and those of the leaders of other Nations as well.

A Russian bank, targeted with sanctions by President Obama over the Ukraine crisis, has hired two former U.S. senators to lobby against those sanctions, according to a new disclosure filed with the Senate.
Former congressman Eric Cantor has landed a lucrative position with a Wall Street firm but he isn't working against policies of the Administration, just joining the que of former pols, using their time in public service to enrich themselves.
The following is from the HuffPost story by Igor Bobic.
Cantor, who was defeated by tea party-backed Dave Brat in a Republican primary election, is joining investment bank Moelis & Co. as vice chairman and managing director. He stands to earn $3.4 million in cash and stocks as a signing bonus, with $1.2 million guaranteed in just his first year. That's worth a lot more steaks than the $174,000 a year salary Cantor earned as a member of Congress.
It seems that more and more, those who leave public service ( ? ? ) very quickly find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow of becoming a lobbyist yet still suck on the government tit. Then rake in obscene amounts of money by joining up with the long line of lobbyists seeking to insure corporations and foreign countries get a foot in the door of the hallowed halls of congress.
I'm not sure why but there is more below the squiggly thing

Lott and Breaux left public service almost a decade ago and are among more than 300 members of Congress who’ve become lobbyists, and begun petitioning former colleagues on behalf of clients, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. In 2008, they started a lobbying firm with their sons, Breaux Lott Leadership Group, which was acquired by D.C.-lobbying powerhouse Patton Boggs in 2010. Patton Boggs merged with Squire Sanders to form Squire Patton Boggs in June.
Many of the commentors, posting replies to this article, suggest that these double dippers who lobby in our halls of Congress, especially for foreign interests give up government pensions and benefits. Some even are calling it traitorous. Greed knows no integrity.
