Wendy Davis - YouTube

Some time ago, I listened to Senator Ted Cruz and fellow Texas Republican's from Texas. I head in the past, that many of their citizens wanted to leave America and
form their own nation. Great, I thought, This country could do without those fools.
I was blasted by the readers. I assumed ALL people were as these idiot Republican's.
I learned about Texas democrats. I watched a senator named Wendy Davis.
She stood and talked for 13 hours to keep Women's health care centers open. The
chambers were full of screaming fans.
Wendy Davis is running for Governor. She is fighting the usual Republican fat cats and
racists. She is fighting the grip right wingers have on this state. I can think of no more
logical place to have a 'showdown" vs good and evil.
Texas is against Women's right, voting rights, health care for the poor, This "bright"
governor decided to send the national guard to the borders to protect his citizens
against those scary children fleeing violence and murder in Central America. The kids
are turning themselves in, hoping for mercy. Our Country has sent many kids back to
their own country to be murdered. Perry and his buddies don't give a shit.
I am urging every reader of this great paper to send her campaign $20 dollars. If you
can't afford that much, send what you can, but send her something.
She may not win. Still I want the good old boys in her state, to know all the people
on our side stands with her. We need to shine a light on the ugly and mean folks
who run her state. Her opponent, Gregg Abbott, brought Ted Nugent to help him run.
I could write for hours on Nugent. He is the hero of every racist mean spirited person
in America, Read the article about Ted and the Vietnam war. He claims he was kidding
when he said those things to a journalist.
Texas is the battle ground for the past or future of this Country. Do we let poor women
die? Gay's suffer? voting rights go back to an ugly time?
I try not to write anything before doing my homework. My earlier slap in the face from
my first diary, taught me that. I can't say this anymore bluntly. Wendy is fighting for
all of us.
-I see America , not in the setting of a black night of despair
ahead of us. I see America in the crimson light of a rising sun
fresh from the burning creative hand of God. I see great days
ahead, great days possible to men and women of vision,
