Update to earlier story: Montana teacher Stacey Dean Rambold was convicted of raping a 14-year-old student who later committed suicide. Judge G. Todd Baugh sentenced him to 15 years, but suspended all but 31 days of the sentence, claiming that the child was "just as much in control of the situation as he was." The 31-day sentence was not only outrageous, it was illegal under Montana law, and another judge has now sentenced him to 10 years. Judge Baugh was reprimanded and suspended for 31 days.
