This is a follow up to my 10/6 diary, NC-Sen: Help me GOTV for Kay Hagan in Charlotte. Yesterday, I met with a local field coordinator for the Hagan campaign. We had a delightful conversation, and her passion sparked the same energy and determination that infused the 10/4 Asheville Meetup.
NC Sen: Kay Hagan (D, Incumbent) and Thom Tillis (R). Don't let the bad guy on the far (R)ight win.
As we talked gerrymandering and GOTV over coffee, she made an important point about Mecklenburg County. Because it's already reliably blue, it doesn't always get enough attention in statewide campaigns. But how much bluer could it be if we helped turn more voters out, one conversation at a time? The bluer we are, the more R votes we cancel out. One voter at a time. Each makes a difference. She has already personally knocked on hundreds of doors and is fired up for hundreds more, but she can't do it alone.
There are thousands of registered voters' doors waiting for our GOTV efforts in Charlotte. This is one election diary that won't ask for a dime for your money. But if you are local, and can spare some time to engage with a few of the North Carolinians who will decide this incredibly important election, please kosmail me. I have direct contact info for the local campaign, as well as a phone bank/canvassing schedule.

Forward together, not one step back!
