For those of you who have followed the saga of the crooked moving company that moved my brother out here know the frustration I have felt about not getting anyone to help us. The Department of Transportation blew it off. The Consumer Finance Department blew it off. Capital One has hounded me for money claiming no fraud and pay because the moving company won't reimburse us. I finally sent a complaint last week to Kay Hagan's Office. I just got a call from the Department of Transportation. The moving company's license has been pulled. They were part of a sting from June in the Los Angeles area. They are taking my evidence of fraud to the Attorney General's Office and criminal charges may be filed. Now I know why Capital One sent me a letter the other day saying a Cease and Desist had been put on my account and no further attempts would be made to try and collect this money. They are going after both the company we hired and the one that moved us. Thank you T-Mobile for the phone that takes pictures when I don't want to. It was the accidental picture of the original that I signed for four boxes and the moving companies altered one that is going to help make this case. Thank you Kay Hagan. You definitely have my vote.
