Hi again beer lovers! Stop in and share a cold one with FNBB.
I've become a fan of deadspin, mostly for sports-oriented stuff, but (as I mentioned last week) also for beer and drinking stories. So of course they're the go-to source for stories combining sports and beer.
A few weeks ago the Washington NFL team was caught selling stale beer left over from the World Cup; this week some fans in Seattle snuck beer samples out to a lab and reported that the Seahawks appear to be cheating them with weak beer.
But it could be worse: if you're a fan in Kansas City, watered beer is the least of your worries. ESPN did the actual reporting but I'm going with Deadspin's lede:
Were you one of those fans fortunate enough to see the Royals' magical postseason run in person, or perhaps you're a loyal Chiefs supporter? If so good for you, but it means you probably ate some mold or rodent shit.
The ESPN link has lots of pictures. I've worked in food service and never seen anything like that. Dirty stuff piling up during a shift, OK. Piles of dirty stuff left when you go home, fuck no.

I've got Tap 79 IPA again (from Trader Joe's). When my friend gets here we'll go get something else. What are you drinking? Is anyone brewing?
