It is the latest in a long list of examples, however this one solidifies the point that the Republican leadership within the House of Representatives and the Senate are using psychological warfare and baseless arguments (for the sake of arguing) to keep the people of this great country unfocused on the fact that Republicans are not doing the work of the people. That being to form more perfect union. Thus they are being derelict in their duty to uphold the supreme law of the Land...the U.S. Constitution.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Apparently the Congressional Republicans are upset with Ted Cruz because he shot off his mouth too soon by trying to protest the Spending Bill this past Saturday which then opened up the floor for Harry Reid to use the time to push through 23 or so Presidential appointments.
Now I could care less about Ted Cruz being despised, the point I would like to make, and begin to fill the airwaves with is that while the Republicans pitch a fit about not being able to block President Obama's appointees they continue to neglect their primary duty to the people of the united States, that being to advance the principles outlines within the U.S. Constitution. The being to form a more perfect union.
How does blocking President Obama's appointees, some of which have been waiting two years to be confirmed, advance the Constitution?
It doesn't. Hence acting out some type of vendetta to see to it that the First African-American President fails, ought not be a part of any discussion within the walls of the Senate or House of Reps.
