According to the BBC, the North Korean Internet is down again.

It's fun to laugh at the Norks (a word I saw yesterday for the first time, a reference to the NK government, not the people). But it's not funny to contemplate the risks of an escalating cyberwar.
We'll probably never really know what has happened so far, for sure. My guess is the attack on SONY was from North Korea and that the retaliation against North Korea is from a coalition of countries.
But it could be some unaffiliated nut in a mountain cabin.
UPDATE: In the comments, ctexrep links to something called the Racial Slur Database that claims that "Nork" is a racial slur. FWIW, I don't mean it that way, and in all the references I've seen here (starting yesterday) I think the term was always used as short-hand for the NK leadership. It's fine to mock them.
