Myra Adams, at the Daily Beast, is out with an opinion editorial that asks the question, "Will George W. Bush Be The Last GOP President?" This may be one of the two or three times a year that the conservative media takes a very brief moment to reflect on some realities (and other Benghazi-like psychoses).
She outlines ten reasons why George W. Bush and Millard Fillmore may have the distinction of being the last Presidents elected from their respective parties. Her articles starts out with an enormous mistake:
Rapidly changing demographic trends favor the Democratic Party.
Incorrect. The inability for Republicans, at a fundamental level, to understand that demographics do not favor any one party is the reason why Myra Adams may be correct about George W. Bush. African-Asian-Hispanic and other
very real Americans do not vote for Republicans
because of the GOP, not because they are minorities. Republicans make very clear that they prefer WASP's, will tolerate Catholics, accept Asians as long as they don't ask for anything and keep quiet, have a bloodcurdling hatred of Hispanics, and despise African-Americans, especially the ones who achieve success and beat them at their own game.
The biggest nightmare for the GOP is not that they will keep losing Presidential elections. Their biggest nightmare is 2024 when a Hispanic becomes the leader of the free world.
