So I'm looking and wondering what happened to WYFP tonight, and being a responsible guy, jumping to the rescue. I hope Bastrop is ok, but first:
WYFP is our community's Saturday evening gathering to talk about our problems, empathize with one another, and share advice, pootie pictures, favorite adult beverages, and anything else that we think might help. Everyone and all sorts of troubles are welcome. May we find peace and healing here. Won't you please share the joy of WYFP by recommending?
Our dishwasher died a few months ago, so I've been doing the dishes manually, until we get the new house finished and moved into (it will have a new one). I'm not crazy about doing them, but I couldn't see the expense of getting a replacement, let alone trying to revive our 10+year-old Maytag portable, never mind the tsuris of moving stuff out of the way, and off of it, to get a replacement in. I had considered a Danby, which is somewhat smaller, and probably meant for bachelor pads and/or wet bars, for washing small loads. The word on the web is they are under-powered, so that's some money saved. And it reminds me of the days when I first moved in with Calamity Jean: dishwashing was my assigned task. I'd relate the story herein, but I'll see if I can get my wife to make a comment.
So, what's your FP?
