Our next meeting is on April 26 at Casey's Irish Pub downtown at 2PM.
David Kanuth, CA-33 Congressional candidate will meet, greet and speak.
CA-33 is probably the most contested Congressional district ever anywhere (please enlighten me if I'm wrong). David is one of 18 candidates (after 3 retired). I wrote about this district last week. It's Congressman Henry Waxman's old district. He retired in January after 39 years.
I met David recently and he struck me as a very eloquent, smart and progressive. Very very impressive and not a career politician. He is an unusually multidimensional person. An athlete, a Harvard graduate, an attorney who became a public defender and a computer industry entrepreneur in social media.
So this meeting is a must. I estimate that in Greater Los Angeles there must be about 400 active Kossacks. It's downtown. There is plenty of affordable parking in Pershing square and the Metro station is within walking distance. Casey's is also cool. Good food at the bar. We held our first meeting there in Jan 2013.
So please spread the word and join us. Or at least Recc so we get some visibility.
BTW, the following meeting is on May 24 and Marianne Williamson, also running for CA-33 will speak.
