Environmental good news includes upholding EPA authority to control pollution between states, court judgment against fracking, and a new photovotaic with twice the efficiency. Bad as the climate crisis is, fixing it is affordable.
On the equality front, Alaska Supreme Court ruled in favor of tax equality, Chelsea Manning has her name recognized legally, and Kentucky has been told to recognize marriages from other states.
The Senate is steadily clearing out the backlog of appointments under the new rules for appointments.
