Get out of town,
You featherheaded carpetbagging Wall St. clown,
Scott Brown!
Notes below.
1. My assumption is that Poets Laureate retain their title, as do Senators (and, we are told incessantly, Marines). One is not an "ex Senator," for example.
2. The particular poet laureate is Donald Hall, of Andover, New Hampshire. He's "from away" but now lives in his grandfather's house, IIRC. (He wrote a book about finding a box of string in the attic, from his grandfather. It was labeled "String Too Short to be Saved." That is not relevant to this diary, but you are welcome to comment on it.)
3. I am within the three-paragraph guidance on Fair Use. But that's the whole damn poem (which appeared in the Concord Monitor.)
