I thought I'd write about the protest we attended in Sacramento yesterday. It was about getting another Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, which would be the 28th Amendment. The new Amendment would do away with the Citizens United ruling by the Robert's Supreme Court which made corporations people and thus allowed money to buy elections. In essence the ruling was "money is speech" and "corporations have the same and equal rights as do human beings." A new group called 99% Rise, a splinter group of Occupy Los Angeles, walked all the way from LA to Sacramento to then stage this protest.
And Kossacks represented
I have video I took. I have a bunch of pictures I took. I got them all ready to go. While I was in the process of doing so, three Turkey hens showed up shepherding 13 baby Turkeys. And so I took a video of that and decided that will be my Kitchen Table Kibitzing story for today.
Have you ever seen a bunch of baby Turkeys before?
Well OK, that was a tease. If you insist, I'll post the video I took of the march to the California State Capitol then too.
Here is what the California Capitol Building looked like yesterday.
Shockwave is the second person from the left. He's very involved in this movement

Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share part of the evening around a virtual kitchen table with kossacks who are caring and supportive of one another. So bring your stories, jokes, photos, funny pics, music, and interesting videos, as well as links—including quotations—to diaries, news stories, and books that you think this community would appreciate. Readers may notice that most who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but newcomers should not feel excluded. We welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well.
