Summer has arrived, and with that the associated shifts in time & availability that accompany the change of seasons: some areas of home & work shift into high gear, others shift into low, some park until the next seasonal change while others shake off the dust and begin to return to a regular routine.
Nearly everyone's time and availability are affected. Everyone has a lot on their respective plates, and there always seems to be more - if our growing lists of personal, social and business responsibilities were food, we could feed the world hundreds of times over, or more.
With all the different changes in activities and responsibilities, we still try to maintain a degree of "routine" even as the specifics of that routine may shift, change or adapt. Routines help us ensure that we're moving forward, making progress, or at least not drowning in an onslaught of overwhelming (and sometimes underwhelming) change.
One routine that I'd like to protect, preserve and extend is the still-nascent establishment of the Boston Kossacks group. We've only attempted a few meetups, and need to keep the ball rolling. We have a lot of Boston-based and area Kossacks who's like participate, but with conflicting schedules and responsibilities it's been hard to coordinate a gathering of more than a few at a time so far.
And now, I need to reach out to ask if there's at least one BosKog who could assist with planning and coordinating activities: for the next few weeks, I'm inundated in items that make it a tad challenging. I need help - ideally, a few folks to jump in to noodle about options and locations, maybe post a diary or two to coordinate and then follow up.
I'd wanted to see if we could set up from one to three upcoming events in Quincy, which is near my home & very accessible on multiple fronts, but life caught up too quickly. I can help with planning and coordinating, communications, etc., but right now I'm shy of some of the bandwidth I'd require to incorporate the full gamut of planning.
Chime in below if you're able to assist - your help will be greatly appreciated.
Namaste.
