Received this e-mail today from Senator Kay Hagan's (D. NC) U.S. Senate campaign:
The Supreme Court’s recent decision in Hobby Lobby was a huge setback for women’s access to birth control. It allows some corporations to deny their female employees birth control coverage in their health insurance plans.
From the earliest days of my career, I have fought to ensure equal access to preventive care for North Carolina women. Now my opponent, Thom Tillis, believes the Hobby Lobby decision was a good one.
But you know what’s worse than that? Supporting a “personhood” amendment that could make common forms of birth control and even in vitro fertilization illegal. Or trying to attach anti-women's health provisions to bills about motorcycle safety.
Thom Tillis supports all of those anti-women agenda items, and more.
Thom Tillis is working to take away women's health care decisions. Sign the petition now to tell him to stop hurting North Carolina women.

Decisions about health care should be made by women and their doctors, in consultation with their families and their faith. Not by corporations, not by the Supreme Court, and certainly not by Thom Tillis.
Women should have access to safe, effective birth control if they choose to use it. Plain and simple. Tillis is trying to take those decisions away.
Now that Hobby Lobby has been handed down, it’s more important than ever that we come together to fight for women and families.
Sign the petition to demand Thom Tillis stop his crusade against women’s access to health care.
