As Muckrock says, these spreadsheets haven't been cleaned up, and that likely accounts for certain repetitions. In Maryland, counties have sheriffs and towns have police.
I'm at a loss about the Baltimore Watershed Police. Huh? (Go below the tear gas cloud).
I'm being unfair to some PDs with the title, I am sure, since not all of the 1033 items are heavy weaponry or inappropriate gadgets. I have no objection to ballistic vests or replacement flat screen monitors or cold-weather coats.
All the more reason to ask locally about what they've obtained.

Baltimore Watershed Police?
Well, they are part of the Balto Public Works and that's not their name anymore. Wonder what they've gotten?
BALTIMORE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICE
Sunday, March 17, 2013 - 12:06pm
Their name has changed from the Watershed Rangers to the Baltimore Environmental Police but their function remains the same. They will patrol the Baltimore City owned property that surrounds the Prettyboy Reservoir. However they can also act to enforce the laws of Maryland and the City and County of Baltimore in areas off reservoir property. They are commissioned police officers that will be looking out for illegal boating, swimming, dumping, ATV use, camping and drug and alcohol use.
In addition the rangers will wear a second hat. They will serve as an educational resource for resident and visitors and will be available to answer questions about the watershed.
In an emergency always call 911. Otherwise contact the rangers at 410.887.2222 to report suspicious or illegal activity. When making this call specifically ask for a Prettyboy Watershed Ranger. Note that the fire roads have been numbered so you can use this information to direct the rangers to a particular site. For non-emergency recreation information call 410.396.5352 or call the Dept. of Public Works at 410.545.3651.
