She clearly has so much passion for this country, and continuously turns that passion into action. Since the first day she took office, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has fearlessly gone after the nation's most powerfully corrupt, and has proven she is there, without a doubt,
for the people.
In this interview with Bill Moyers on PBS, Senator Warren discusses how she deplores the word 'gridlock,' when discussing Congress. She says it sounds too much like all the parties involved refuse to cooperate, and that's not the case. One party continues to say, 'no-no-no.'
The senator also points out:
"The government runs for those who can make their voices heard. They mostly make their voices heard through their lobbyists and campaign contributions. And that means over, and over, and over - the tilt is in favor of the rich and powerful."
Warren says Mitch McConnell (and his ilk) are blatantly standing in the way of progress, especially regarding lowering student loan interest rates, equal pay, and birth control. She adds families are squeezed right to the edge in this country, and she encourages all Americans to stand up to the government and tell them:
"I demand that you work for ME - not for the millionaires - not for the billionaires."

I just love this woman.
