Cutting to the chase ...
"Scaling back on the 'Disease of Greed'."
The trickle-down Tax-haters, forever-defenders of the filthy rich, are re-tooling their Supply-side economics -- they're re-framing their Top-down unproven theories, with a brand new idea:
They're re-framing their status-quo flack under this nifty new label called "Economics of Envy" ... and by implication, accusing those who oppose them, as being inflicted by this Envy-based ailment.
As if those who want a fair and equitable wage, are simply lazy slackers.
As if those who have been bearing the brunt of their Economy's structural changes -- for decades -- are really the ones at fault.
Nevermind that American Jobs are more competitive than ever.
Nevermind that American Jobs keep finding their way overseas, as part of their Supply-side dogma.
They are gearing up to tell us -- the working class - that there is something wrong with us, if we have the nerve to demand that we Raise Taxes on the Rich.
With these wealth-chasers in Congress -- it is always "Blame the Victims" ... and never blame their Greed ...
Mark my words, the Greed they are forever-enabling, is nothing less than a Disease.
The Disease of Greed.
Those who possess it ... will never "have enough."
Those who chase this Ideal ... despise anyone who would levy Taxes their way.
Those who put their Personal Wealth above all else ... will always live in Fear.
Fear of what would happen, if their investments ever fail.
Fear of the reaping the whirlwind, that they've so often sown for others.
Fear of who would in the world would respect them, if suddenly their wealth was siphoned-away, by that ever-needy Government.
The "Greed Disease" drives them forward to make even MORE.
Those who possess it ... will never "have enough."
And they will always be looking for someone else to blame, whenever their own ceaseless ambition ... ceases to thrill them, like that first leveraged buyout, that first hedge-fund score, like their very first OPM scam
-- that opened for them that stratified door, to that exclusive place, otherwise known as "the privileged few."
Who, in their right mind ... would be "envious" of THAT?
It is such unquenchable Greed, that keeps driving us -- as a country and as a world -- into that ever-widening, Income Inequality ditch.
Soon to be an unbridgeable "canyon" -- if the Greed-mongers among us, keep getting their "blame the envious" ways ...
