Something I strive for when I write about firearms is to present what I have to say in as clinical a manner as I can. I try to keep to facts/statistics, supporting evidence and endeavor to limit any emotionally based arguments. While keeping my diaries "clean" the comments to my diaries don't always follow suit, I will say I think they are getting better. Between the clinical content and (as of late) the increase of comments conducive to a thoughtful discussion, progress can and is being made which I hope will bring new voices.
With that, I want to take a moment and say thank you to the following people for recommending my diaries and for the tips to the Tip Jar. Your rec's and tips are unique since they aren't from people who normally rec and tip what I write. Hopefully I am reaching a broader audience.

To everyone I didn't list, you know who you are and I appreciate you continued support.
The numbers of people that don't rec, tip and comment on a regular basis aren't all that many, which is probably due to the contentious nature of the topic and the tendency for the comments to become somewhat less than amicable. I don't know about those of you reading this but I want to reach a broader audience. I want to have cogent, logical and reasoned discussions. Maybe that's not possible or just too much to ask. In the mean time I will continue to write as the urge hits me and time becomes available, and I will shift through the comments to find those few who are genuinely interested in having a chat. So if it's been a while or if you never have participated in an RKBA diary I encourage you to give it a go. Not saying that you won't get anything on you but you may very well end up having a lively and worth while conversation. Cheers everyone.
