Simon had kind of a rough weekend.
He became tachycardic, and stopped eating, and generally felt rotten. His mother thought the rotten feeling was just that he's three months old now, and he knows IVs hurt and doesn't want them, and really didn't want the feeding tube he had to have put back in.
And the PICU is bigger and noisier than the NICU. And his sister and his doggie and his dad aren't there; they're all back at home.
But since yesterday he's decided to eat again, and is taking his bottles, and smiling at people. One by one wires and tubes are being disconnected, and the doctors are thinking the tachycardia isn't too serious, so the Little Boy and his mom will be leaving the PICU for a regular room, and maybe, maybe for home sometime soon.
Keep thinking of him, though. What a lot to go through in 3 months!
