Last week, before declaring his delusions of presidency, Tom Cruise...er... Ted Cruz famously tried to publicly bully a NASA official into 'stop looking at the Earth and get back to space exploration'....
A week later, the vacuous, political couch jumping twit has the audacity wrap himself in the robes of Galileo and try to pull off a childish/churlish Pee Wee Herman "I know you are, but what am I?!" A lot has been well written in the aftermath, that would embarrass a normal person if they had posited such pocket fluff... but I think there is an important piece of hypocrisy that everyone has missed....
Ted. You can't decry 'NASA mission creep' one week and then turn around and use "17 years of satellite data" , incorrectly and disingenuously, I might add, to paint everyone who disagrees with you as a flat-earther.
Sorry Ted, no Ted Talks for you.
Ted really is saying to NASA and to anybody that will listen..."Hey! Look up there at all of those bright shiny pretty things!!" The not so funny thing is that this is the reason why:
"The utter collapse of human civilization will be 'difficult to avoid,' NASA funded study says"
Keep up the good work, NASA. Ted, kiss my bright, shiny little asteroid right where the sun don't shine.
