Good God, you just had to know this was going to come out:
WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton e-mailed her staff on an iPad as well as a BlackBerry while secretary of state, despite her explanation she exclusively used a personal e-mail address on a homebrew server so that she could carry a single device, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.
This makes her already ridiculous
explanation (pdf) of why she used a personal email address for State Department business not only ridiculous, but wholly dishonest:
Why did she use her own email account?
As the Secretary has said publicly, when she got to the Department, she wanted the simplicity of using one device. She opted to use her personal email account as a matter of convenience; it enabled her to reach people quickly and keep in regular touch with her family and friends more easily given her travel schedule.
On its face, that's just plainly silly, as has been
discussed all over the
online world already. Now we know it's also a lie, and honestly - a really, really dumb one. How could she possibly not know that this would come out?
Update: Please step back and look at what HRC has done here: In March, 2015, just a few weeks ago, she made a statement about the convenience of using "one device" while she was SoS. This was just a few weeks ago. For this to not be an outright falsehood, we'd have to believe that she forgot she used more than one device to email while she was Sos. And that is simply not plausibe.

There's more:
They show that Clinton, on at least one occasion, accidentally mingled personal and work matters. In reply to a message sent in September 2011 by adviser Huma Abedin to Clinton's personal e-mail account, which contained an AP story about a drone strike in Pakistan, Clinton mistakenly replied with questions that appear to be about decorations.
Is it a work email? Is it a private email? You decide...no, wait.
Of all the ridiculous, reaching, wanting for honesty defenses of HRC's explanation by Dems - here and elsewhere - this one has to be my favorite:
Why didn't she use two Blackberries: one for her personal email and other for her official government email? She said on Tuesday that it was a matter of convenience, and I suppose that's a solid enough excuse given how, while jetting around the world, it's more likely to misplace a Blackberry if you have two. You're literally twice as likely to lose one.
I'm sure Bob is busy on a story about how iPad's have a lower lose-ability factor as we speak.
CNN, Guardian, Yahoo, Politico.
Update II: I didn't notice that the CNN aritcle I linked above actually has a Clinton camp response - although its unsourced, which is just weird:
A source close to Clinton, however, argued on Tuesday that "the AP reporting on her iPad use later on during her time at State does not contradict her UN comments at all."
"She said her reason for opting for one email account in 2009 was a desire to not have to carry more than one device around," the source said. "And in the second sentence of the above statement, she specifies that the extra device she was seeking to avoid was 'a second phone.'"
Oy, man. That is just painful. What does that even
try to mean?
