I know it's been awhile since I've been here. With working two jobs and school it's hard. Normally I am seeking help for animal rescues or for disaster recovery but this time it's very personal.
My little sister, Heather, and her family are going through a very difficult time. Last Wednesday she began to experience a great deal of neck pain. By Sunday she had become dizzy, disoriented and her walk was listing to the right. She was admitted into critical care Sunday evening. After a battery of tests, including an MRA, they have ruled out vascular (their first thought was a possible tear in a blood vessel), a stroke, aneurism and cancer. They are now looking at possible neurological causes.
As if this all wasn't enough for one family, yesterday their house caught on fire and they have lost everything.
My sister, her wife and her child are the best people I know. The family has started a go fund me site for them and I am reaching out to the kindest people I know, Kossacks, to ask for help. Please see below for further information.
This is my sister Heather, her wife Jackie and their daughter McKenzie.
This is their house after the fire.
