‘Bullets To The Head’ For Homosexuals Proposed In California Ballot Measure
With just $200, and a Christian extremist agenda, it seems Mr. McLaughlin has been able to propose a ballot measure titled the ‘Sodomite Suppression Act.’ Received by the Office of the Attorney General in Sacramento, CA on Feb. 26, 2015, the ballot measure reads like an ISIS propaganda training manual.
While the measure itself prohibits homosexuals from such things as serving in any public office, serving in public employment, and enjoying any public benefits, perhaps the most disturbing section reads:
“Seeing that it is better that offenders should die rather than that all of us should be killed by God’s just wrath against us for the folly of tolerating wickedness in our midst, the People of California wisely command, in the fear of God, that any person who willingly touches another person of the same gender for purposes of sexual gratification be put to death by bullets to the head or by any other convenient method.”
I wonder what an “other convenient method” would be? Stoning comes to mind. That is in the Bible after all. Regardless of the nonsense language used in the measure, it seems that California Attorney General Kamala Harris “may have no choice but clear it for circulation,” according to lgbtqnation.com.
It seems that state law allows any citizen that pays the fee, and properly submits an initiative, to move on to the next phase. The next phase for McLaughlin would be to get 365,880 signatures needed to continue in his ballot initiative.
Why try to even pretend?
