I generally don't like Christianity. This is partly because many of them in my vicinity don't act like Jesus much at all, and tend to be far more into the judging and smiting.
ANYWAY...
Last night in East Baltimore, a church sponsored senior center that was under construction got torched. The senior center included/ will include 60 low-income senior apartments.
Affordable housing is desperately needed everywhere in the USA, everywhere, all the time.
The church almost certainly insured the build against fire, but I wanted to contribute to the rebuild.

I urged them to build a youth center attached to the senior center.
This because the young folks of East Baltimore seem to need help channeling their righteous rage into positive, effective action.
Note: I gave on the church site itself, because it occurs to me scammers could run a "donation campaign" that never actually goes back to the church?
So if you feel like giving, it's probably safest to give on the church website.
