I know some of you were waiting for an update with the results from the vet and I have only some small info to give.
At the moment, Pixie's Puppy has been renamed to Scooter by a loving family that has fostered him. He returned from A&M hospital on Sunday and will be seeing a vet again in six weeks.
Here's the deal:
Pixie's Puppy, Scooter and his sister are actually younger than previously thought.
This means, at the moment, they're choosing a conservative course of action in treatment. They're waiting to see what his bone growth does before they decide what sort of treatment they want to engage in, with the options raising from nothing necessary, suriglcally due to his body working it out with mild physical therapy, at the very best end and to a double amputation of his front legs at the very worst outcome. The good news is no one is talking about the e-word, at all.
A facebook page has been started for all three dogs in this little family presently being fostered. You can find it here:

The go fund me is also here.
http://www.gofundme.com/...
Please spread both as far as you can see. We will update the gofund me's limit appropriately as soon as we know what kind of therapy, and it's cost, will be.
Thanks to everyone's kindness, this young pup now has a chance, a nice foster home, and socialization with a family that's taking good care of him.
We'll keep you all abreast, since we know a lot of you are hoping for the best for him!
