We provide a place to sleep and food for both him and his dog. Here's the problem...he was going to group but he has stopped. We are also beyond food and shelter giving him a cell phone and other stuff as well as paying him to do yard work. The problem is that he has twice been obviously on meth... which I think should be legal but I don't believe I should subsidize his bad choices.. He has a right to them but must be aware that the price to pay is his not someone trying to help him out of his pit...
Ok question guys : Should we warn him or just wait until he does it again... I have had several sleepless nights and my heart breaks but I don't want my wanting to help to hurt him more. we are not his parents but I will not support his addiction... But I value most people but the wondering if the drug will lead him to take advantage of us... We have been hurt before so we are wary but willing to trust if it helps.
Give me your advice please. Experts let me have it... He's 60 and has a dog (wonderful dog)
