For the same reason expressed by activist Chicago priest Phleger, I'm no fan of Keef's lyrics... but Helloooooo?
First Amendment Rights??
Keef's street cred just shot up 1000 percent-- thanks to stupid cops yesterday in Hammond, IN.
A glowing hologram image of Chief Keef projected on stage in Hammond, Indiana, was shut down by the city's police department just a few minutes into its "performance" on Saturday night (July 25).
The surprise hologram was the unannounced headliner at Craze Fest, a hip-hop festival at Hammond's Wolf Lake Pavilion. The day-long festival, organized by Craze Productions in conjunction with Capitol Connect, was peaceful and featured performances from rising Chicagoans Tink and Lil Bibby, as well as national stars Jacquees and Riff Raff.
Huh? I get it-- the cops don't like Keef's lyrics, but you can't shut down his performance-- whether holographic or real.
Bright and early tomorrow, right wind bobbleheads will be spinning off into outer space, claiming the cops did the right thing.
Nope. the cops just made him famous.
