I will keep this short because the concept is simple.
I am gay, I am also an entrepreneur. One was a choice, the other was not.
Anyone who has started a business knowns that there is a lot of paperwork, local, state, federal, and depending on what you do, world level.
To start a bakery, florist, auto parts dealer, under-water basket weaver you fill out tons of paperwork. As part of that paperwork at some point you agree to abide by the laws of the jurisdictions you work in...
This is where this whole religious liberties bullshit comes into play. WHEN YOU STARTED A BUSINESS IN ___ YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW THE LAWS OF __.
If you are a whack job that has an issue serving gays, or anyone else for that matter THEN DON'T OPEN A BUSINESS WHERE THE LAW SAYS YOU MUST. It's that freaken simple. All of these laws are published, thanks to the inner-tubes you can find out most of this information sitting on your toilet from your phone.
And this is where we, as liberal, need to reframe the argument. We need to hammer home, that being gay is not a choice but opening a bakery that serves the public is. If you are of such a fragile state that serving a gay is going to shake your faith in God to the core, then choose not to own a business. Entrepreneurship is "lifestyle" that you choose.
If you open a business, don't get mad when your law breaking gets you fined and shut down.
