Good morning, folks! We're planning to have an End of Summer meetup that will be the last weekend of August. We're going to meet "in town" (-ish), which (for Boston) can mean anywhere from Kendall Square to Ball Square, ranging from Boston to Cambridge to Somerville. We're working on a venue now and will announce it later this week. You can
join our Google group here to participate in regular updates and conversation, and be kept in the loop as planning progresses.
The objective of Connect! Unite! Act! is to help Kossacks build local communities. Our objective, as Boston Kossacks, is to build a local community in the Boston area that will serve as an effective focal point where we can gather and communicate with other area Kossacks, stay on top of local events, and interact with progressives, activists, and thought leaders in one of the nation's oldest and most politically impactful areas. This is where, as progressives, we can establish and enhance our ground game. It's how we can effectively make the transition from merely interacting with other online blips and beeps to effectively communicating and participating with each other, sharing news about events and developments happening in our backyards and neighborhoods and discussing how they interact with and impact us at community, regional, and national levels.
This is how we can expand our capacity to make a difference.
The early evening of Saturday, August 29, will be a great opportunity to pull together and meet with more of our collectively Kossacks than ever before.
