I am not a fan. I cannot watch her show. But I also cannot stand to see any woman trying to do her job (whether I like it or not) take this type of abuse from someone who claims to aspire to become leader of the free world.
After personally (well, via Twitter) unloading on Kelly when she returned from vacation ("I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly. Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"), Trump went on to re-tweet several really obnoxious and sexist responses to his tweet, including "The bimbo back in town. I hope not for long."
Roger Ailes called Trump's Twitter abuse "disturbing," and while he's right, he's a day late and a dollar short on any Fox-centric high dudgeon, given that network's own sexist bent. And if President Obama said anything like this about a reporter, well, we know it would be called more than "disturbing" by Ailes.
Yes, Fox may have it's chickens coming home to roost, but how anyone other than the lowest of mouth-breathers can possibly take Trump seriously is beyond my rather vivid imagination. He is our own Berlusconi, but without the cool Italian accent.
