Every object demands to be dusted.
Made space for.
Rent paid for.
Picked up.
Put away.
Cleaned.
Walked around.
Stumbled over.
Moved from here to there.
Repainted.
Made over.
Repurposed.
Worried about breaking.
Insured.
Guarded against theft from everybody who doesn't have one.
Repairing.
Replacing.
Upgraded.
Probably requires slave labor or the equivalent to be manufactured, transported, stored, and sold.
Not to mention the wage slavery to purchase it.
And contributes to the death of the planet.
I'm exhausted thinking about it.
