From The Detroit News:
Lansing — Hillary Clinton dispatched two top campaign aides to Flint on Wednesday to meet with Mayor Karen Weaver about the city’s water contamination crisis.
Clinton’s national political director, Amanda Renteria, and policy adviser Mike Schmidt met with the mayor at City Hall on Wednesday.
On Monday, the Democratic presidential frontrunner also criticized state officials for allowing Flint River water to continue flowing to city homes after General Motors Co. deemed it too corrosive for engine parts.
Update thingy: [Gar! (DK5):] As a former Michigander, thanks for reccing this up. Another diary, from me about Flint’s Hero Doctor Mona & how government (big and small) makes a difference in children’s lives. (These two women, Mayor and Doctor, are amazing!)
