I don't see this diaried elsewhere, but then from Barcelona I have a six-hour advantage over the East Coast. The story seems to be fading into oblivion without being digested.
Yesterday in Catawba County, North Carolina, a good samaritan trying to help a stranded motorist was shot dead by the motorist, who seemed to have not appreciated his rescuers' efforts.
Something else people have to worry about when the populace is overarmed, the possibility that the person by the side of the road you might want to help in an emergency is armed and deranged...
