About a month ago I read many comments that touted Hillary’s 30+ point lead in South Carolina and claimed a southern firewall. At the time, I pointed out that Bernie’s portion of the black vote had risen from 3 1/2% to 11%, but I was chastised that it was still “a very small number.”
Today the polls have Hillary with a 20 18 point lead in South Carolina, and the hubris has not diminished.
So I’d like to ask the Clinton supporters to help us plant some goalposts before the South Carolina primary. What margin of victory does Hillary need to take away in order to make her victory decisive? How close does Bernie have to come in order to call it an upset?
