Earlier today, I turned the T.V. on to CNBC to see how the stock market was doing. I didn’t find out because apparently Chris Christie had endorsed Donald Trump and this was so important that CNBC had to spend 30 minutes plus on the Donald responding to this endorsement. I understand that Trump got creamed in last night’s Republican debate, but what does this have to do with the stock market? Apparently CNBC is part of Trump’s effort to hijack the news cycle.
Tonight, I turned on to MSNBC’s Hardball and instead of getting any news, I saw an extended rerun of Trump trying to ameliorate the creaming he got from Rubio in last night’s Republican “debate.” I don’t want to hear Trump. I don’t care about Trump. There must be some TV news show you can turn to without hearing about Trump.
Tweetie has become an embarrassment to MSNBC.
I try to understand it, but I can’t. What is so fascinating about Trump? The guy is a narcissist would-be Mussolini. Every political journalist understands that but they can’t leave him alone.
If I was prone to conspiracy theory, I would suspect that the fix was in for Trump. But I know better. This is more like the Weather Channel rooting for next Katrina because they know it would bring better ratings.
You look at Super Tuesday and you realize that Trump could wrap up the Republican nomination in a couple of weeks.
But you know what? Trump is like Katrina. He’s over in a couple of weeks. Celebrity Apprentice was a pretty good “reality” TV show. But most people watched something else.
