I can't wait for this primary season to be over. And I'm sick of people who say that if their candidate doesn't win, they're just not voting. Here's my analogy. Let's say I grant for the sake of argument that Hillary Clinton is poison. And I'm sure most of Bernie's supporters would agree that Trump is poison. Let’s just grant all of that and run with it.
Imagine you are locked in prison and you’re told that instead of the wonderful food you wish you were eating, you’re being fed food that is poisonous. But not deadly, just really bad for you. And if you eat one food, you’ll lose one day or your life for each meal. While the other food will lose you one month for each meal. And if you refuse to eat, they will force feed you the worst poison instead of the lesser poison.
In light of that knowledge, is there anyone who doesn’t understand that failing to choose the lesser poison is freaking stupid?
And that’s granting all of the ridiculous lies, conspiracy theories, and smears against Hillary Clinton as all being true, instead of the more prosaic reality that she’s a middle of the road Democrat whose votes and policies are mainstream for her party and have been for a long time.
