A friendly reminder from Canada
“Canadian laws are different than US ones – as such the CBSA suggests you check before arriving at a Canadian port of entry,” the agency said in a press release.
Anyone who does choose to bring firearms into Canada must declare them at their point of entry. Which is exactly what a couple of guys didn’t do earlier this month.
Two men from Texas failed to declare their firearms while crossing into New Brunswick. The guns were subsequently seized, destroyed, and the men were sent packing with hefty fines.
You’d think Canada wouldn’t have to do a “campaign” to remind Americans of this.
