At least their name is on the Courage Campaign's petition for SB 562, Single Payer Healthcare for California as a 'petition partner,' so I assume that means they're endorsing the legislation.
Petition Partners:
Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE), California Nurses Association, Color Of Change, Courage Campaign, Daily Kos, Democracy for America
According to an update I received from the Campaign for a Health California, hundreds and hundreds of organizations have now signed on - having sent support letters to California State Senator Lara, who sponsored the legislation. (Your organization can as well!).
Daily Kos was not on that updated list of endorsing orgs so it came as somewhat of a surprise - no less a delightful one - to see them as a 'petition partner' for the petition (GO AND SIGN IT NOW!). (To be fair I probably haven't looked at every front-page Dkos article on these last weeks, so they could have endorsed on these pages and I just didn't see it.)
Here's description text from the petition page:
Every Californian deserves high-quality, guaranteed health care. But even under the Affordable Care Act, over three million Californians are left out and still lack health insurance. They’re our parents, children, grandparents, neighbors, co-workers, and community members.
The Healthy California Act would establish a transparent health care system and a universal standard of safe, quality care -- essentially an improved Medicare for every Californian...
... the legislation faces a tough road in the state legislature. Health insurance industry and Big Pharma lobbyists are going to do everything they can to kill this bill. They’ll concoct awful lies and scare tactics, and they’ll spend millions of dollars to spread them to influence Republicans and moderate Democrats to vote against the bill.
If you agree that health care is a human right and it’s time every Californian is guaranteed health care, sign the petition.
On April 26th, the California State Senate Public Health Committee will consider SB 562. The California Nurses Association and its partners in this effort are holding a rally beforehand in Sacramento, busing people to the Capitol from all around the State.

Hi. I strongly support S.B. 562, the Healthy California Act. Because every Californian
deserves guaranteed healthcare. I’m urging Senator __________, as a member of the
Senate Health Committee, to exercise leadership in support of the bill. Thank you.
Sen. Janet Nguyen: (916) 651-4034
Sen. Richard Roth: (916) 651-4031
Sen. Josh Newman: (916) 651-4029
Whether or not Daily Kos has officially, unofficially, not yet endorsed SB 562, or never will, you can get behind it:
Trump and the Republicans are still threatening to kill off Americans by taking away their ability to obtain health care. We can do something about that. We can shut that down. And then we can pass universal health care state by state, starting with California and New York State.
