There were so many startling things in the Times’ interview, this little nugget may have fallen through the cracks.
It’s mighty tough to get a healthcare bill passed if you have no effing clue what health insurance is.
From Trump’s NYT interview:
“So pre-existing conditions are a tough deal. Because you are basically saying from the moment the insurance, you’re 21 years old, you start working and you’re paying $12 a year for insurance, and by the time you’re 70, you get a nice plan.”
Ummm...no. This is not a Gerber Grow Up plan or Colonial Life or the ads you see on daytime TV in-between the soap operas. Common sense would tell most that if you faked it until you made it, at least learn your stuff once you make it to the top. Six months in and he has no clue what health insurance is, nor the desire to at least Google it to learn between Twitter posts. This man is incurious and lazy AF.
P.S — Sorry this is so short. Trying to get the kids off to camp before work. I really only read on here, haven’t actually posted for years!
