CNN reports that a FOIA lawsuit has produced emails from Huma Abedin, involving HRS’s use of a non-government server, on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. (Weiner, as we all know, is Abedin’s former husband, now serving time for sexting a 15-year-old).
Washington (CNN)The State Department posted a number of emails belonging to former top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin on Friday after the messages were found on Anthony Weiner's laptop by the FBI. Several of the released documents were found to contain information classified "confidential," and were heavily redacted.
Friday's release is in response to a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking: "All emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-'state.gov' email address."
The FBI has previously said that a number of Abedin's documents were backed up on Weiner's laptop, and that some smaller number were manually forwarded. In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee last May, the FBI said, "Although we do not know the exact numbers, based on its investigation, the FBI believes it is reasonable to conclude that most of the emails found on Mr. Weiner's laptop computer related to the Clinton investigation occurred as a result of a backup of personal electronic devices, with a small number a result of manual forwarding by Ms. Abedin to Mr. Weiner."

It goes on to says that the consensus was that Abedin didn’t seem to have any sense of doing anything wrong.

This rag, RT, makes it all sound ever so ominous, and also straight from the Fox News piece on the same subject-
In a statement issued Friday, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton called the release a "major victory,” adding that it was no surprise there were classified documents on Weiner's computer.
“It will be in keeping with our past experience that Abedin’s emails on Weiner’s laptop will include classified and other sensitive materials,” Fitton said in a statement. “That these government docs were on Anthony Weiner’s laptop dramatically illustrates the need for the Justice Department to finally do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law.”

Politico also has a piece on this. I can just imagine all the “A-HA, I knew that biyotch was up to no good” going on at Fox and elsewhere. But...it’s just one more attempted distraction for the orange shitgibbon and his cohort to use as a diversion from their own morass of much more nefarious doings. Still, it is fun to watch them get their panties in a twist sometimes. Which wouldn’t happen if they’d just get some big-girl panties, pull them up, and get on with it. Maybe they’ll forget about Mueller for a bit until...oops One can hope. Popcorn?
