There’s your message.
One right-leaning pundit dropped her accusation against Senator Franken, and it seemed a bit suspect. More have come forward now and unfortunately they seem legit. And the sad truth is that he needs to resign, both for solid moral reasons and, hear me, for solid politically calculated reasons.
Whether Roy Moore wins or not, whether these accusations against 45 get anywhere close to justice or not, Moore has not apologized for anything, and with the Access Hollywood tape alone 45 told the world that those charges against him are not only plausible but all too likely.
Even for all that the Republican Party brass still supports and stands by both of them. No Republican has been called upon to resign, or exit the race, or even say they're sorry.
Meanwhile Conyers is out, and Franken is probably going, at the request of much of their own party.
Of course there’s a spectrum, and of course a butt slap is a helluva lot different from pedophilia.
But the final tally will still show clearly that Democrats do not tolerate sexual misconduct of any kind, while Republicans are just fine with even the most egregious kinds.
How many voters have endured one or more of the types of behavior described by these four men’s accusers?
How many have seen justice?
How many of them are “undecided”?
