has been changed to Saturdays (see below URL), and, in the hope, these postings and break from the typical diaries representing this community attract more readers. In my not so humble opinion, I think we can use a break from America’s political and social nightmares. Accordingly, that’s why I thought or assumed my Road Tour series of featured national parks, national monuments, archeological ruins, and state parks scattered throughout the Colorado Plateau Province might appease the community’s interests. Certainly, none of us can change the course of politics given today’s entrenched mindset by writing diatribes (which, of course, are notable). Personally, it’s a revolution that we need, but I doubt that’ll ever happen again in this country. Anyway, we are slowly and surely losing our open spaces under the Trump so-called administration left, right, and center and he and his fossil fuel cronies are going full-speed ahead given the aggressive stance to tap and plunder natural resources, even sacrosanct open spaces that we all thought were protected. Hence, the other reason I write these diaries and hope to incite more interest, by readership and support, for all of us to stand up and applaud the last, wild, and scenic and historically significant environs in this country. That said, yesterday’s diary can be viewed at this website: bit.ly/…
It is my hope some of you will spread the word there are alternative diaries, as subject matter, worth recommending and supporting. My spirit aches when I think what Trump, et. al., is doing or planning to do to scenic and historical wonders of America. I have complained, mightily, in fact, to this madman, but I’m afraid my complaints have been so many that I am now on his personal shit list or something. Too bad. I’ll continue raising my voice when it comes to advocating for our national parks, monuments, state parks, and archeological ruins. For instance, the Bears Ears National Monument, in southeast Utah (San Juan County) that is the most recent scenic treasure under attack (en.wikipedia.org/...)
Thank you for reading and spreading the word.
