Come one, come all — welcome to Sunday night at the Kos Katalogue — What’s New? diary series. On tap this week — check out our Featured Vendor products that are guaranteed to help you make that turbulent shift from Winter into Spring! As for the time change — you’re on your own, but you can express yourself in the poll ;)
The What’s New diary series posts every Sunday evening at 9 pm Eastern / 7 pm Mountain / 6 pm Pacific time. This is a Kos Katalogue group diary that also supports the Community Links, which are posted in the comments. The full list of vendor links can be found in the Kos Katalogue mothership diary by Avilyn.
It’s a fun way to bring Kos Katalogue sellers & shoppers together and get to know each other. Sellers with Katalogue listings can use the comments below to post their latest item, product, service, venture, or other news about their businesses. Customers and shoppers are encouraged to use the comments to ask questions, make suggestions, and so on. In between, we can hang out, share our news and views … and feel free to post pics of the stuff you’ve bought, sold, or have for sale!
Featured Vendors > Winter into Spring!
I woke up this morning to Daylight Savings Time (that’s supposed to be a spring thing, right?) and a winter storm warning, complete with total overcast and blustery winds! So yeah, this particular seasonal shift can be confusing. But never fear, our featured vendors will help you take your mind off it all. Happy shopping!
Snoopydawg is an awesome landscape photographer who sells her work as prints; check them out at her site Snoopydawg Photography. This lovely shot captures the essence of the late-winter sun in a snowy landscape — and the next one shows a gentle spring scene with flowering almond trees. Her prints are very affordable, and they make lovely gifts. too!
michelewln is a multi-talented artist and crafter. She has beaded necklaces at Art by Michele Wilson that will lend a spring touch to any outfit. Check out the ones shown below; I also like the Gold Rose and Butterfly & Stones pieces shown on her website page. Message her for prices!
Our final featured vendor is yours truly, jan4insight (becuz I needed 3 to round out the list, and only two others volunteered ;) and I have a brand new Infinity Scarf that’s perfect for transitional weather. The light weight and easy drape are just right for a springtime stroll in the park, and you can always snug it up for extra warmth if the wind turns chilly. What’s Kos Katalogue? and Where to Find It
Kos Katalogue is an organized way to showcase the vast pool of small-business talent we have among our fellow Kossacks. From artisans and crafters, to fine artists, to writers and book publishers, to web developers, consultants, and counselors — and many more — Kos Katalogue lists an amazing array of goods and services. Every purchase supports a Kossack — many of our sellers gain all or a significant portion of their livelihood from these sales. When you shop at Kos Katalogue, you support indie and small businesses, help a Kossack pay the bills and put food on the table, all while bypassing the corporate noise. And, you get to stay out of those crowded malls!
Note: Kos Katalogue is a listing directory, not a selling platform. Links within the sellers’ descriptions will take you to the individual seller’s website or product pages, where you can get more information and make purchases.
How do I join Kos Katalogue?
You can join the Katalogue listings as a seller by sending a Kosmail with your request to Avilyn, who is the Keeper of the updated mothership diary. Be sure to include a brief description of your products/services, and a link to your selling site.
To join the Kos Katalogue group, send a request to any of the Blog Admins listed on the group’s members page.
