Trump has been telling large lies, little lies, lies when the truth would have worked just as well since he was in the womb.
Just more of a focus on it now since he was running a national campaign and now he is President.
But it seems to me the large lies are getting bigger. Much bigger.
Recently he said before the November election there would be an across the board 10% tax cut just for the middle class. The White House was in fact working with folks on the Hill developing the final language. When reporters asked nobody in the White House or the Hill had heard a single thing about it. And maybe more sad since the House and the Senate are in recess until after the election, it is impossible anyway.
Or the $100 billion in military equipment the Saudis will buy (lie in and of itself he tells often) will create 50,000 jobs. Then like the same day it was hundreds of thousands. Next you know Trump said a million new jobs.
I've come to believe that Trump, okay not Trump he isn't smart enough, but some senior advisers have seen no matter how often he lies. Doesn't matter the topic and no matter how large the lie his base is still with him at more than 90%. So lie away. It can only help to energize our base and get them to the polls in November.
If you want to say to a crowd "you've not seen Ivanka much lately, well she is on our new Mars colony I created" just do it.
Or that is my thinking the last few days. What do you think?
