A quick diary regarding Michigan results.
Projected winners:
Governor: Gretchen Whitmer
U. S. Senate: Debbie Stabenow
Leading:
Secretary of State: Jocelyn Benson has a nine percent lead.
Attorney General: Dana Nessel has a three percent lead.
In addition Megan Cavanagh, endorsed by the Democratic Party, is has a narrow lead over incumbent Republican backed Kurtis Wilder.
You may notice a common characteristic among these candidates. They are all women.
In addition all three of the ballot initiatives passed.
Prop 1 legalizes marijuana.
Prop 2 puts redistricting in the hands of a non-partisan commission to eliminate gerrymandering.
Prop 3 increases and protects voting rights.
We are hoping to flip a couple house seats but that is a long shot.
