The Moondai Furkids team have observed that most hoomins classify pooties, woozles and birdees by breed and coloring. This puzzles them. They themselves know there are these different classes but they rarely think about it. In fact, they are rather proud of the fact that they are not specieist (though they recognize that many furkids are by nature), not breedist and not colorist.
That is not to say that they do not categorize themselves, they do. As you will see, their categories are based more on personal specialties and style. It’s all about how they express their inner pootiness, woozleness and birdeeness.
There are hundreds of these furbutt classifications so I asked the team to narrow it down. “Fuud” is by far the biggest category because every furbutt is classified by a stupefying numbers of subgroups. These are largely based on likes and dislikes with further sub-subgroups concerning such criteria as quantity, quality, timing, container, location, position etc, ad infinitum. We therefore decided to move onto less complicated categories and ones that a hoomin audience would readily recognize. After much discussion, they finally narrowed it down to 5 placement and 2 activity categories with subgroups where applicable.
