Take Action Tomorrow, May 5, to flip California districts from Red to Blue!
May 5 is the DAY OF ACTION in the San Francisco Bay Area, and there are lots of events where you can help make a difference! Let’s get started!

Phone Banking for CA-10 and CA-21:
Phone Bank at IBEW LOCAL 617 UNION HALL at 1701 Leslie St. in San Mateo 94402. Bring a phone (make sure it’s charged), charger and a computer, iPad, or tablet (optional). California State Treasurer candidate Fiona Ma and California Insurance Commissioner candidate Ricardo Lara will join us! Together, we can make sure that Democrats win in the primaries held on June 5 so that they can advance to the general election on November 6! CALL SHIFTS: 10AM-1PM, 12PM-3PM. Even if you can't stay for an entire shift your participation will make a difference. Complete training will be provided and refreshments will be served. Information LINK
Phone Bank at the Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) at 960 San Antonio Rd., Palo Alto, CA 94303. We'll be talking to Democrats and Independents to ensure they vote in this upcoming election. We'll provide everything you need to make calls on site! Phone Bank Shifts: 10AM-1PM, 12PM-3PM, 3PM-6PM Information LINK
Phone Bank in San Francisco at 301 Grove Street (at Franklin Street), San Francisco 94102. Please bring a laptop/pad, telephone and chargers. Headphones will make calling easier. Feel free to drop by any time between 1 - 5pm. Information LINK
Postcarding for CA-10 and CA-21:
Come to the Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) at 960 San Antonio Rd., Palo Alto, CA 94303 to write postcards to get out the vote for TJ Cox in CD-21, and possibly to write postcards for CD-10. Postcards and stamps will be available at the event, or you can bring your own. We will provide coffee and water for folks to enjoy while they write, and if folks wish to bring potluck snacks to share then we can enjoy some yummy foods together, too. Noon to 2 pm. Canvassing in CA-10:
Travel to Modesto in District 10 to knock on doors and activate voters! Meet at Downey Community Park in Modesto at 10 am. If you can offer a ride or need a ride, click here for carpool information. Information LINK
Travel to Modesto to join Congresswoman Barbara Lee and NextGen America Founder, Tom Steyer, for a special canvass to "Take Back the House" in CA-10 (Denham), 9 am to 2 pm. Meet at Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 442, 4842 Nutcracker Lane, Modesto, CA 95356 at 9 am. (If you already attended a training, you're good to go. If not, you need to arrive one-hour before the scheduled canvass to receive a training.) Free parking is available, and there will be breakfast and coffee, plus the CA-10 famous carnitas lunch!
