The Washington Post has a story about Trump supporters voting to overturn the right-to-work law passed by the legislature. The front page headline is: How Missouri voters can side with liberals on unions and still support Trump
The headline and the story reenforces what George Lakoff terms biconceptualism, which is the fact that people can have progressive views on some issues and conservative views on others.
It’s an informative read and provides insight on possible ways to reach Trump supporters who are not true believers.
